My pregnancy journey so far (Ongoing 2nd Trimester) has been a mixture of emotions — Fear,Joy, anxiety, anticipation, and growth with some hiccups as I had miscarriage from my 1st pregnancy which was supported by Dr.Seema Jain to be mentally ready post reviewing the scan results. We were bit skeptical about making few decisions about the fertility treatment, However Dr.Seema Ma'am made sure we are well informed and clear about the alternative path to conceive .Later within couple of months I was able to conceive under guidance of Doctor. My appointments have been timely and informative.I appreciate clear communication and guidance during each month of my pregnancy journey so far.Ultrasound and lab test processes were smooth and efficient and reports were discussed and if there were any red flags it was addressed by Dr. Whenever we contacted the medical staff/Assistant Doctor we got the required support in our crucial/Emergency situation.
Since its time for Pre natal Yoga,I had enrolled in further assistance which covered Topics like Prenatal yoga, Mental well being,Types of Delivery, Garbhasanskar, labor preparation, breastfeeding, and newborn care were covered well.
I feel supported in managing pregnancy-related discomforts (Vomiting, nausea, etc.). as Doctor is available to address the queries.
I am being guided well on supplements, and red flags to watch for.
I'm thankful for the journey so far and hoping for a safe and smooth delivery.

Choosing Cloudnine Hospital was one of the most important and emotional decisions of our lives—and we are so grateful we did. From the very first consultation, the entire team showed exceptional compassion, professionalism, and expertise.

Dr Seema Jain took the time to thoroughly explain every step of the process and never made us feel rushed or uninformed. We appreciated their honesty, their evidence-based approach, and their constant encouragement through what can be a very challenging journey.

The nursing staff and support team were equally amazing—always available to answer questions, offer reassurance, and celebrate small milestones with us. The clinic was clean, well-organised, and ran efficiently, but still felt personal and warm.

Thanks to the care and dedication of the team at Cloudnine Hospital and we couldn’t be more thankful.

We started consulting Dr. Seema Jain for ART treatment in 2024 since we had trouble conceiving. Considering we had crossed 34 years of age and our medical reports, she had suggested to proceed directly for IVF rather than trying other simpler treatments first. We were a bit concerned about directly starting IVF treatments but we decided to follow her advice. It took a few attempts, but we were finally able to successfully conceive in the third attempt. Over all these attempts, Dr. Seema ensured to modify the course of treatment after each attempt to maximize our chance of conception. Looking back now, we are glad we decided to follow her initial advice. Throughout our journey over the past year, Dr. Seema & her team have been readily available to address our concerns and queries. We sincerely recommend Dr. Seema Jain for your journey to parenthood.

Very nice treatment, I recommend you to Dr Seema Jain.
Our journey to becoming parents began in 2021, and honestly, for a long time we wanted to believe it would be a straight shot, after each trial. After trying on our own for a bit, we explored options like a laparoscopy and IUI. When those didn't help, in late 2023, IVF became our next big step under Dr. Seema Jain.

Our first embryo transfer didn't go well, which was a huge blow. We dusted ourselves off and tried again, and our second transfer actually resulted in a pregnancy, but heartbreakingly, the numbers weren't quite right, meaning another loss. Then, the third transfer also failed, leaving us feeling pretty worn out and wondering if this was even going to happen for us.
Through all those tough moments, our fertility team was supportive. They were so good about explaining everything, no matter how many questions we threw at them. Their medical team's knowledge and genuinely caring approach really helped us make sense of all the complicated stuff and get through those incredibly difficult decisions.

After those initial struggles, we went through another egg retrieval, and thankfully, we ended up with six healthy embryos. We decided to hit pause for a while, which was probably the best decision we made. That break gave us time to recharge emotionally and mentally. When we felt ready, we went for our very first frozen embryo transfer, and to our absolute disbelief and joy, it worked!

This whole experience taught us so much about not giving up! Our strongest takeaway message for any couple fertility treatments is this: stand strong together, believe in your own journey, and remember that with the right guidance, everything is possible. Trusting your instincts, when things are tough, is just as vital as the medical treatments themselves. We're incredibly thankful to Dr. Seema Jain and her entire team who stood by us all the time.

My journey to motherhood was a long one—two years filled with ups and downs, uncertainty, and emotional moments. But throughout this challenging time, Dr. Seema Jain was a constant source of hope and positivity 💫.

What truly stood out about her was her unwavering optimism. Even when treatments didn’t work or we faced setbacks, she never gave up on me. She never used negative words or made me feel like I was the problem. Instead, she always said, “We will try again.” That hope she gave me, time and again, is something I will never forget 🌈.

Today, I am blessed with a healthy baby boy 👶🏻, conceived naturally—and I truly believe it was possible because of the treatments and guidance I received from her. It was her careful approach, her encouragement, and her belief in me that made this miracle happen 💖.

It was the best experience with Dr.Seema Jain. She understands your problem and issues and then opts for the treatment. We are in contact with Dr. Seema Jain since 2021. With her guidance and support we conceived in our first try but had to terminate the pregnancy due to some issues. The journey still was a bit difficult for us but still Dr. Seema Jain made sure that everything goes smoothly for us. Consulted Dr. Seema Jain Madam since 1st Month and I must say she is best Gynecologist. Very caring, kind, down to earth and she understand her parents very well and time to time motivate too.
Whenever I visit, I always got positive vibes. The way she explains things was awesome. She is definitely a best gynecologist as well as very supportive and friendly.
Dr. Seema Jain Madam has really been so great that the whole pregnancy journey with her and the delivery days in the hospital have been a piece of cake - seamless with absolute-zero difficulties.
We consulted Dr. Seema Jain when we were planning for a baby. After the +ve pregnancy test there was a minor risk. The doctor handled it with a lot of diligence due to which our twin pregnancy stayed secured. Our pregnancy and delivery experience has been good. Delivery happened at a premature stage but in the right way and the right time. Both my babies are healthy and growing beautifully.
We would highly recommend Dr. Seema Jain for a safe and secure journey to parenthood. Indeed the best gynaec in Pune!

I have been a patient of Dr. Seema since 2020. I randomly had gone to get my ovaries health checked before planning for a baby and to my surprise I found that i wasn't ovulating regularly. Dr Seema patiently explained me the root cause of it with solution. She started with some guidance than jumping onto medicines directly. After some relief from covid chaos I went to her again with negative pregnancy test and that's when she suggested me to start with some low dozed medications. Due to her expertise and faith I kept on moving along with her plan patiently and one day finally saw two pink lines on the test kit. When I showed her that kit she was immensely happy for us. I trust her with treatment and support. She has always been kind to me and kept encouraging me to embrace my pregnancy journey. Another important factor is she pushes for normal delivery...which is great. Not to forget her staff has always been supportive and helpful. Always smiling and greeting you. Few months back we were blessed with a baby boy. I am thankful to Dr. Seema Jain for giving us the chance to become happy parents to our child. Lots of love to you ma'am. 🥰🥰

When That Voice in Your Head Says "Something Is Not Right"

You have been trying for six months. Every month ends the same way. You tell yourself it is normal, that you just need more time, that stress is probably the reason. But somewhere in the back of your mind, a quiet worry keeps growing. Should you wait it out or should you finally make that appointment?

This is one of the most common questions that patients bring to Dr. Seema Jain, an experienced IVF Specialist In PCMC. And the answer is not as straightforward as most people think. The old rule of “try for one year before seeing a doctor” is outdated for many couples. Your age, your cycle history, and several other personal factors all play a role in deciding when the right time to seek help actually is.

The "One Year Rule" Does Not Apply to Everyone

Most people grow up hearing that infertility is only a concern after one full year of unprotected intercourse with no pregnancy. While that guideline still holds for younger couples with no known health issues, it leaves a large number of people waiting longer than they should.

If you or your partner are above 35 years of age, waiting a full year before seeing a Fertility Specialist in PCMC can cost you precious time. At 35 and beyond, egg quality and ovarian reserve decline at a faster pace. Six months of trying without a positive result is already a good enough reason to book a consultation. For women above 38, even three to four months is the threshold that most reproductive medicine doctors now recommend. Time genuinely matters here, and getting an early picture of your fertility health gives you far more options than waiting and wondering.

Six Months In: What Your Body Might Already Be Telling You

Sometimes the body gives signals well before a formal diagnosis. These are signs that warrant a visit to an IVF Specialist In PCMC without waiting for the one-year mark:

  • Irregular or absent periods: Cycles that are shorter than 21 days, longer than 35 days, or simply unpredictable often point to hormonal imbalances or conditions like PCOS that directly affect ovulation.
  • Very painful periods: Severe cramping, pain during intimacy, or heavy bleeding can be signs of endometriosis or adenomyosis, both of which affect fertility in significant ways.
  • History of pelvic infections or STIs: Past infections can cause silent damage to the fallopian tubes that only shows up when you are trying to conceive.
  • Known conditions like PCOS, thyroid issues, or fibroids: If you already carry one of these diagnoses, waiting twelve months before seeing a specialist is not in your best interest.
  • Previous pregnancy losses: One miscarriage is common. Two or more miscarriages warrant investigation much sooner.
  • Male factor concerns: If your partner has had any testicular injury, surgery, varicocele, or hormonal conditions, a semen analysis at six months makes complete sense.

If even one of these applies to you, a visit to a Fertility Specialist in PCMC at the six-month mark is the right call.

What Happens at Your First Fertility Consultation

Many couples delay their first appointment simply because they do not know what to expect. The visit feels loaded with anxiety, and that fear of hearing a difficult answer keeps people in a waiting pattern longer than necessary.

The reality is that a first consultation with Dr. Seema Jain, IVF Specialist In PCMC, is far less overwhelming than most people imagine. It typically begins with a detailed conversation about your cycle history, your partner’s health, your lifestyle, and how long you have been trying. This is followed by a set of basic investigations: a hormone panel that checks FSH, LH, AMH, and thyroid levels for the woman, and a semen analysis for the male partner. An ultrasound is done to assess the ovaries, uterine lining, and antral follicle count.

These tests do not take weeks. In most cases, a clear picture starts to form within a few days. And very often, what couples discover is that the problem is something specific and absolutely treatable. Knowing what you are dealing with is always better than guessing.

Waiting Too Long: The Real Cost Nobody Talks About

The idea of “giving it more time” feels emotionally safer. But from a medical standpoint, delayed consultation carries real costs that extend beyond just time.

Ovarian reserve, which is the number of eggs remaining in your ovaries, is not something that can be rebuilt once it declines. AMH levels drop year by year, and for some women, the decline is faster than average. Every month that passes with unaddressed low ovarian reserve is a month closer to fewer viable options.

Similarly, conditions like endometriosis are progressive. What starts as mild adhesions can worsen over time, making conception harder and treatment more complex. Blocked fallopian tubes do not clear on their own. Sperm DNA fragmentation does not improve without targeted intervention.

A consultation with a Fertility Specialist in PCMC at six months does not commit you to IVF or any aggressive treatment. It simply gives you information. And information is power. In many cases, couples who come in early find that a small lifestyle adjustment, a short course of medication, or a single procedure is all they needed. Others discover that they do need more support and are grateful they did not wait another six months to find out.

This is one of the most genuine and common concerns that patients share during their first visit to a Fertility Specialist in PCMC. The short answer is that seeing a doctor at 7 months when you are 29 with regular cycles is not premature at all. It is actually very sensible.

Here is why. Regular periods tell us that ovulation is likely happening, but they do not tell us that the egg quality is good, that the fallopian tubes are open, or that the uterine environment is receptive. They also tell us nothing about your partner’s sperm.

Statistics show that among young, healthy couples having regular intercourse, roughly 85 percent conceive within 12 months. That means around 15 percent do not, and a portion of those couples have an identifiable and treatable cause. The earlier you find out which category you fall into, the earlier you can act.

A visit to Dr. Seema Jain, IVF Specialist In PCMC, at this stage simply involves a conversation, a basic hormone test, an ultrasound, and a semen analysis. If everything comes back normal, you will leave with genuine reassurance and perhaps some guidance on optimizing your timing and lifestyle. If something does show up, you will have found it early enough to address it without the added pressure of months more of waiting behind you.

There is nothing to lose by going early and everything to gain. Fertility care is not just for people who have already been labeled as infertile. It is for anyone who wants answers

Male factor infertility contributes to nearly 40 to 50 percent of all infertility cases. Yet in Indian households in particular, the semen analysis is often the last investigation to be done, sometimes only after the woman has already gone through multiple rounds of testing. This delay is both medically unnecessary and emotionally unfair.

The semen analysis is a simple, non-invasive test. A sample is provided privately and analyzed in a lab. It assesses sperm count, the percentage of sperm that are moving, the shape of the sperm, and in some cases the level of DNA damage in the sperm cells. Results are available within 24 to 48 hours. There is no procedure involved, no needles, and no physical discomfort.

From a medical standpoint, if your partner has low sperm count, poor motility, or high DNA fragmentation, no amount of fertility treatment focused solely on the woman will lead to conception. The cause simply will not be addressed.

In terms of how to bring it up, many couples find it helpful to frame it as a team effort rather than pointing a finger at either person. You could say something along the lines of: “The doctor said this is standard for both of us to check together. It is just one report and it does not mean anything is wrong.” When men understand that this test is a routine diagnostic step and not a judgment on their masculinity, they are far more willing to proceed.

Dr. Seema Jain and the team at the clinic approach male fertility evaluations with complete sensitivity and confidentiality. Many men who initially resist the idea come away saying it was far easier than they expected.

PCOS is one of the most common hormonal conditions affecting women of reproductive age, and it has a very complex relationship with fertility. The fact that your cycles have become more regular is genuinely encouraging and likely reflects positive changes in your hormonal balance, possibly through lifestyle improvements, weight management, or medication.

However, regular periods in PCOS do not always mean that ovulation is happening consistently. In PCOS, a cycle can occur because the uterine lining sheds without a mature egg actually being released. This is called anovulatory bleeding, and it looks exactly like a period from the outside.

The only way to confirm whether you are ovulating regularly is through tracking methods such as basal body temperature, LH surge testing, or a mid-cycle ultrasound to confirm follicle rupture. A blood progesterone test on Day 21 of a 28-day cycle can also give a reliable answer.

Beyond ovulation, PCOS can affect egg quality, insulin sensitivity, and uterine receptivity. Women with PCOS also have a higher rate of early pregnancy loss if conception does occur without adequate hormonal support.

Seeing a Fertility Specialist in PCMC before you begin trying, or certainly within the first three months if you have been trying without success, is genuinely worthwhile when PCOS is part of your history. An evaluation at this stage will help confirm whether you are ovulating, assess your ovarian reserve, check your metabolic health, and put a simple monitoring or support plan in place that gives your natural conception attempts the best possible chance of success.

First, the emotional weight of a miscarriage at 8 weeks, when you have already seen the heartbeat or shared the news with family, is genuinely difficult. It is important to acknowledge that before anything else.

From a medical standpoint, a single miscarriage occurs in approximately 10 to 20 percent of recognized pregnancies and is most commonly due to a chromosomal error in that specific embryo. In the majority of cases, it does not indicate an underlying problem that will repeat itself, and most couples go on to have a healthy pregnancy afterward.

That said, there are specific situations where investigation after even a single loss is reasonable. If you are above 35, if the miscarriage happened after a period of trying for longer than usual, if you have a known condition like PCOS, thyroid disorder, or an autoimmune condition, or if the miscarriage was at a later stage in the first trimester, a conversation with Dr. Seema Jain, IVF Specialist In PCMC, is a worthwhile step.

Most guidelines recommend investigation after two or more consecutive losses. This typically includes a karyotype test for both partners, a thrombophilia screening to check for blood clotting disorders, a uterine assessment to look for structural issues, and a hormonal panel.

In terms of when to start trying again, the physical recovery after an 8-week loss is generally complete within four to six weeks. However, emotionally, couples vary widely. Many doctors now say that medically, trying in the cycle following a miscarriage is acceptable once the uterine lining has cleared. The older advice to wait three months was based on emotional readiness rather than medical necessity.

If you are feeling ready and would like clarity before trying again, an early visit to a Fertility Specialist in PCMC can give you that reassurance or catch something that needs addressing before another attempt.

This concern is more common than most people realize, and it is one that deserves a thoughtful answer rather than a dismissal.

Seeing a fertility specialist is not automatically a commitment to IVF. The first consultation and initial investigations are relatively affordable and serve a purpose entirely separate from treatment planning. They tell you what is going on. And sometimes what is going on does not require IVF at all.

Many couples who walk into a clinic expecting to need expensive treatment walk out with a prescription for a simple ovulation induction medication, a recommendation to time intercourse more accurately based on their specific cycle, or a finding that a husband’s sperm health can be improved significantly through targeted supplements and lifestyle changes. These interventions are affordable and often effective.

Even in cases where IVF does turn out to be the recommended path, knowing that early gives you time to plan financially. It gives you the opportunity to explore EMI options, insurance riders that are increasingly covering fertility treatments in India, and government hospital programs. In Maharashtra specifically, some government hospitals now offer IVF at a fraction of private clinic costs.

Dr. Seema Jain and the team believe that every couple deserves access to clear, honest information about their fertility regardless of where they are financially. A consultation is never about pushing you toward the most expensive option. It is about understanding your situation and finding the most appropriate path forward for your specific circumstances.

Dr. Seema is one of the best gynecologist in city. She is a woman of less words but a lot of positivity and full of energy. Her work speaks for her knowledge and experience.  Best part is she never prescribed unnecessary medicines and treatments until it's really required. Much thanks to Seema M'am for the normal delivery without any complications. I would recommend expecting mothers to be under her guidance and enjoy this experience.
